Halak 'wasn't happy' with trade from Blues
/CSNWashington.com notes that naturally Capitals goaltender Jaroslav Halak hopes to get the start against his former club, the Blues, when the two teams clash in St. Louis Tuesday.
Halak is looking forward to going back regardless and has 'a mix of emotions' now, although he's still keeping a focus on the task at hand.
Asked about the March deal that saw him move to Buffalo as part of a trade involving Ryan Miller and Steve Ott:
“Obviously, I wasn’t happy when I got traded,” said Halak. “You’re trying to build something with the team. You try to play well for them and then you get traded,” Halak said. “It’s part of the job, part of the business, but at the same time they were great people, the whole team and coaching staff and everybody there. Obviously, I have great memories.”
