Dreger doubts surgery lessens Canucks' interest in Kane
/Darren Dreger was on Ottawa’s TSN 1200 on Friday afternoon.
As part of a larger discussion on Evander Kane, the surgery, and the trade market:
“You’re right, there will be a lot of non-playoff teams who in the mix. The Vancouver Canucks, I’m certain, are one of the teams that looking at this thing as more of a long-term asset. So I doubt very much that their interest has lessened because he won’t be able to contribute this season. But it certainly adds another twist to it.”
