McKenzie thinks Jets will "try and add some depth" before trade deadline

Bob McKenzie was on Vancouver’s TSN 1040 on Thursday afternoon.

On how the Jets have always been a budget team, but if they might open the purse strings headed into the trade deadline given the position in which they find themselves:

“Yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if they... They’ve got to be a little bit careful here you don’t go crazy, but if the opportunity is there to add another piece, I don’t know why you wouldn’t do that. But you’ve got to stick with the plan, and not sacrifice the kids coming in the pipeline. So I don’t think they’ll get crazy, but I think they’ll try and add some depth and see what they can do in the playoffs.

“That Winnipeg-Chicago game last Friday? Please, please, please more of that. That was as good a hockey as I saw this year.”
