St. Louis: "Who was more loyal" to Lightning?

New York Rangers winger Martin St. Louis spoke exclusively with The Tampa Bay Times Tuesday afternoon on the subject of his trade from the Lightning, which came at his behest.

He certainly hears what people say about him.

"You think I turned my back?" St. Louis said with a pained look. "Turned my back? Really? I was there 13, 14 years. Was there anyone more loyal to them in those 14 years?"

St. Louis said he does understand how people feel. But...

"My time in Tampa, I gave everything I had," St. Louis said. "Everything! Who was more loyal? Look at my career there."
