Bruins' Fraser cherishes special call home

The Boston Herald points out that Bruins forward Matt Fraser, following his recent Game 4 overtime heroics, won't be forgetting that particular call home to Red Deer, Alberta anytime soon.

“That phone call after the game was pretty special. I said before that I wish every kid could have that feeling of scoring that goal because it was pretty special, and to be able to share it with my parents and my sister was pretty unique,” said Fraser. “(My father) is not a guy that shows a lot of emotion, so it’s almost weird to hear him excited. It’s just one of those things where you always want to grow up and make your parents proud and make your parents happy with the man that you’ve become. Hockey’s a small part of that, but I hope that I did that."
