Jagr in awe of Ramo's goaltending performance
/NJ.com has the post-game reaction from the New Jersey Devils' 1-0 loss to the Calgary Flames, where Devils winger Jaromir Jagr was amazed at the goaltending performance of Karri Ramo.
“It doesn’t matter who was on the ice today,” Jagr said. “There was no chance for anybody to score. How much can one team dominate? That was total domination. It wasn’t our night.
“I played with him in Omsk. I want to see one more night like that. I’m going to retire pretty soon so I won’t have a chance to see it.”
Was the best Jagr has seen Ramo play?
“I think it’s the best I’ve seen anybody play … in one game,” he said. ‘I’ve never seen anybody have so many scoring chances.
“The puck bounced around the net and didn’t go in. We had so many scoring chances. Not only shots, but scoring chances. When somebody gets in the zone, he’s in the zone.”
