Coaching stability should help Oilers

The Edmonton Journal relays how the Oilers feel like there are some strong building blocks on which to build going into next season; not the least of which is having the same coach returning behind the bench.

“As long as I can remember, we’ve gone into off-seasons not knowing if the coach was going to be back or not,” said Taylor Hall.

He noted, “I think it’s pretty obvious Dallas will be back, and that continuity for me is great and will be for a lot of guys in terms of just knowing what to expect.

“There’s not that awkward handshake when you come into camp. You know what expect, what he’s going to teach, and most of all, you know what he’s like. That’s important for all of us.”
