Jets' Pardy not a fan of California earthquakes

The Winnipeg Sun indicates Jets defenceman Adam Pardy was in his Los Angeles hotel over the weekend when the earthquake hit.

“It scared the (bleep) out of me, man,” Pardy said after Saturday’s morning skate. “I’m not kidding you. I was just laying in my bed, and all of a sudden it started shaking and started swaying back and forth. I was like, oh my god, this is an earthquake!

“I’d never experienced anything like that before, so I was just freaking. I didn’t know what to do. I just kind of looked out the window and everything was going normal. I popped my head out the door and nobody was in the hallways.

“It was scary, though. You start hearing the walls crack and starting to creak. Everything just started going like jelly. It was kind of weird. Strange feeling.”
