Brodeur not worried about legacy with Devils

NJ.com spoke with New Jersey Devils goaltender Martin Brodeur about his future, looking ahead to next season.
Honestly, no new revelations on that specific front. Brodeur has basically been saying or alluding to likely playing next season for months now. He did again Thursday.
This time though, Brodeur tackles the potential issue of his career-long legacy with the Devils, were he to sign with a different franchise this summer.
“It’s like Ray Bourque,” Brodeur said. “He’s not known as an Avalanche. He’s a Bruin. Luc Robitaille, he’s not known as a Red Wing or Penguin. He’s a King.
“Things change, and for an athlete, I’m not saying it’s going to happen, but for me to experience something else and to see …”
Several particularly interesting points in this article, with Brodeur revealing why his kids have (hilariously) selfishly lobbied for him to sign with the Minnesota Wild or Ottawa Senators.
Pittsburgh Penguins?
"Maybe."
Montreal Candiens? Not likely.
“It would be hard with what they have in net over there,” Brodeur said. “I don’t mind going in a diminished role a little bit, but not to the extreme of playing 10 games. That’s not enough.”
Good read on all things Brodeur for next season.
