Panthers' Horachek on Hayes: 'You can't teach size'

The Sun Sentinel examines the chance Jimmy Hayes, Brandon Pirri and Dylan Olsen are having with the Florida Panthers, having a bit more breathing room than they did thanks to a  deep Chicago Blackhawks roster.

The 6-foot-6 Hayes has been a net-front presence on the power play since the Olympic break.

"You can't teach size,'' Panthers coach Peter Horachek said. "He's got to continue to work at the harder grind game, at times separate people by being more physical.

"Transition is going to be real important, too. The game's fast and your feet have to get moving.''
