Lack leaning on Canucks' leaders
/The Vancouver Province outlines how these haven't been the easiest circumstances for Canucks goaltender Eddie Lack this season, but he hasn't had to go it alone.
“There are a lot of veteran guys on the team,” said Lack. “I’ve been talking to Juice (Kevin Bieksa) and Henrik (Sedin), especially, and Rollie (Melanson, the Canucks goaltending coach) has been working with me through this whole situation, so it’s been good.”
Henrik Sedin has spoke highly of Lack, including noting how Lack has persevered through trying stretches.
“It wasn’t like he was a guy who’d only played 10 or 15 games,” said Sedin. “He had been through some tough times where people were screaming for Lou to play and he came in and played great for us and got some back to back starts, where he knew the pressure was on."
Lack also continues to routinely show his engaging personality on Twitter.
